FASD United Logo

FASD United (Formerly the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome or NoFAS) is a non-profit organization that works to prevent prenatal exposure to alcohol, drugs, and other substances known to harm fetal development by raising awareness and supporting women before and during their pregnancy, and supports individuals, families, and communities living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) and other preventable intellectual/developmental disabilities. Research Opportunities

Children with a history of prenatal alcohol exposure or an FASD diagnosis needed for a University of Minnesota study
This study is currently recruiting child participants who have already taken or are willing to take BRAIN-online and had a recent neuropsychological evaluation in the past year (or are on a waitlist for a neuropsychological evaluation). If you are intersted in this study, please email fasd@umn.edu

Adults needed for a study investigating sleep an how it relates to brain and behavior
This study is currently recruiting individuals who are 18-35 years old. Participants will wear and OURA ring to measure sleep and activity levels for 2 weeks. If you are interested, please email psych.sleep@sdsu.edu 

Adults Needed for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Mobile Health App Feasibility Trial 
Are you 18 years or older and been diagnosed with FASD or known prenatal alcohol exposure? You may qualify for this study.  University of Rochester’s researchers are partnering with the Adult Leadership Collaborative of the FASD Changemakers to develop a new app for adults with FASD. This app provides resources, tools, and information to improve physical health and quality of life for adults with FASD or known prenatal alcohol exposure. Participate in a feasibility study to try the app to give feedback on how well it works and receive monetary compensation. Learn more at https://bit.ly/adult_app_trial

Families Moving Forward (FMF) Connect
FMF Connect is a smartphone app developed for parents and caregivers raising children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. FMF Connect provides parents and caregivers useful information to help them manage their children’s condition and get peer support.
